After reports that Jerome Henderson was leaving Dallas to take his same position as defensive backs coach in Miami were all but finalized, the news broke today that Henderson is indeed sticking with the Dallas Cowboys.
There were also reports that Henderson would take the Cleveland Browns head coaching position, which he did interview for. Henderson served as the Browns secondary coach in 2009 up to 2011 before joining the Cowboys.

In his time with the Cowboys, the Dallas secondary has ranked near the bottom of the league in passing yards allowed per game after his first year in 2012.
However, thanks to the play of rookie Byron Jones as well as the resurgence of Morris Claiborne, the Cowboys ranked 6th in this category this season. Jason Garrett told the media soon after the end of the season to not expect any major changes in the coaching staff.
With Henderson’s return, this statement from the head coach certainly holds up – as the entire 2015 staff is still currently with the team.
