A great injustice is on the way to being rectified.
This is undoubtedly one of the greatest days of Jerry Jones’ life. That is not hyperbole.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is referred to as the greatest fraternity in professional football. It is hallowed ground where only the game’s greatest are granted admission. Jerry Jones is, potentially, going to finally join that illustrious club.
The contributions that Jerry Jones has made to the National Football League are, honestly, too many to list. USA Today tried to earlier this offseason when they named Jerry Jones the NFL’s most important person, outranking Commissioner Roger Goodell by the way.

We are at a point in society where the NFL completely dominates the landscape of professional sports in America. That is totally, completely, and unequivocally due to the immense work and innovation brought to the league by Jerry Jones.
The NFL has become marketable in ways that Jerry’s predecessors could have never envisioned. The league’s entire net worth would be a fraction of what it is today without the visions that he’s brought to life.
Last week the NFL celebrated its return to Los Angeles. This could not have happened without Mr. Jones’ lobbying and orchestration. He helped ensure that one of the largest media markets in the world regained an NFL team, giving the NFL staying power in such market.
It should be noted that Jerry Jones is merely a Finalist at this point in time, but typically people who are put in this position ultimately are announced as Pro Football Hall of Fame Ensrhinees the following January/February.
We are seemingly months away from Jerry Jones being announced as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is an honor that is incredibly long overdue, but one that Cowboys Nation will celebrate ferociously nonetheless.
