To put into perspective just how good the Dallas Cowboys offensive line is, it is important to look at the depth this immovable starting five has across the board.
Left guard Ronald Leary was projected to backup second-year player La’el Collins this season, and made plenty of noise about his assumed rule leading up to the season. By week 3, in a Sunday Night Football match up with the Bears, Leary’s services were needed in place of Collins – who exited that game with a torn ligament in his foot.
Collins, who was struggling based on his 2015 performance, was placed on injured reserve, hopeful for a late season return.

Collins has taken a big step towards making this return by getting out of his walking boot. All eyes will be on his progress in practice now, as Leary deals with his own injury concerns coming out of the win in Cleveland.
We are still a long way off from knowing if the Cowboys will have to make a decision on starting either a healthy Leary or Collins, but for now their UDFA steal from 2015 is working hard to get back onto the field.
If he does this season, and returns to his rookie form, we could be talking about a Cowboys team marching towards the playoffs with an offensive line better than the one that we have seen throughout this seven-game winning streak.
