Michael Huff to Workout With Cowboys

Patrick Conn

In an effort to fix the secondary issues that were on display Sunday Night in New Orleans, the Dallas Cowboys have brought in former Longhorn Michael Huff for a workout. Currently the Cowboys are without starting safety J.J. Wilcox due to a strained knee and Will Allen was released earlier this season.

Michael Huff and former Cowboy Marcus Spears were released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this season. Huff could provide depth at the position once Wilcox returns. At this point Jeff Heath is not a viable option in coverage and with the injuries to the front seven they need some stability on the back end of this defense.

Stay tuned to Draft Cowboys and Cowboys Nation for more news as it is relayed.
