LSU’s cornerback, Tharold Simon, has not had the ideal draft weekend.
Simon was arrested in his hometown of Eunice, Luisiana on Thursday night after a run-in with a police officer.
According to the police report, Simon allegedly was asked to move his car for a officer, and refused telling the policeman he would be fired if he tried to write him a ticket.
Simon apparently told the officer, “I own Eunice,” and added “I’m gonna buy these projects and you’re gonna be mine.”
Simon was charged with public intimidation, resisting an officer and unnecessary noise violation.
These are interesting moves considering what is crucial weekend it is for Simon, and so many aspiring players.
Simon was suspended a game in 2011 for failing a drug test. Simon started for the first time in his junior year, 2012.
LSU has many players on the draft list this year, and it is a highly anticipated school.
