What else could really be number one, right?
Down 23-20 and staring down an 0-2 start, most of Cowboys Twitter had given up on the game. Some had even given up on the season, but we will leave them alone for now.
Barry Church, however, was far from giving up. While there is a ton of negative you could point to in terms of Church’s play over the years, he has that “C” on his jersey for a reason.
And that reason is because he can make clutch plays like this.
Barry Church comes through and saves the day for the Cowboys, and earns himself the number one spot on our “Plays of the Week.”
