Redskins, Eagles & Giants In Three Way NFC East Tie: What’s Next?

Sean Martin

For the first time all season, the Redskins, Giants and Eagles all won on the same week. To make matters worse, our Dallas Cowboys were humiliated in Green Bay – virtually removing them from the divisional race as they trail the rest of the pack by two games at 4-9.

Here is how the rest of the NFC East (read: least) improved to 6-7 in week 14.

The Giants got the most recent win of the divisional teams, defeating the Dolphins on the road Monday night. Winning 31-24, it was an encouraging sign for Giants fans to see their team finally hold onto a fourth quarter lead.

However, the defense still struggled to contain Lamar Miller and get pressure on Ryan Tannehill. The win earns them a date at home with the undefeated Panthers this week.

The Redskins won their first road game of the season, defeating the Bears 24-21. A week after losing to Cassel and the Cowboys, Washington finds themselves right back in a playoff race.

As is the case around the division, the Redskins also face a tough road ahead. Cowboys Blog - Redskins, Eagles and Giants In Three Way NFC East Tie 2

Sam Bradford and the Eagles proved a big win in Foxborough was not a fluke, as they returned home to defeat the Bills 23-20. DeMarco Murray saw just 11 carries for 34 yards.

The 6-7 Eagles will stay home for the next two games.

They trail these three teams by two games with three to play.
