Not even 48 hours after the Dallas Cowboys inked Ezekiel Elliott, Anthony Brown, Kavon Frazier, and Darius Jackson to their rookie deals… another domino on that line fell.

Ezekiel Elliott has all of our love, admiration, and googly eyes as far as this Draft Class is concerned… but it could be Jaylon Smith that truly defines it.
Smith will very likely have to miss the 2016 season thanks to a knee injury suffered during January’s Fiesta Bowl. There is a lot of mystery and speculation surrounding this pick made by the Cowboys and whether or not they have an edge regarding the knowledge of his health considering that the doctor who tended to Jaylon’s knee is Dr. Cooper, the Cowboys team physician.
It's official! Welcome to the Cowboys @thejaylonsmith!

Our own Ian Koplowitz wrote up an insane breakdown regarding just how talented Jaylon Smith is. If this is the player that the Cowboys are in fact getting… then landing him in the 2nd Round, 34th Overall, is going to be one of the biggest steals in NFL Draft History.
The 2016 Dallas Cowboys Draft Class members who remain unsigned are Maliek Collins, Charles Tapper, Dak Prescott, and Rico Gathers. Don’t fret, the deals will get done.
Congratulations to Jaylon on contractually joining the Cowboys! Make sure you’re following Jaylon Smith on Twitter so you can send him some good wishes yourself!
