Tony Romo Discusses Faith And Football With The Village Church

RJ Ochoa

Tony Romo is a lot of things.

He’s a son, father, teammate, quarterback… the list goes on and on.

Antonio Ramiro Romo is many great things, but he is also a devout Christian. Romo spoke on his Faith with The Village Church’s Matt and Josh on their podcast last week.

The whole interview is just over 40 minutes long. Romo dives into a little bit of football chatter, but he spends a great amount of time recounting his journey as an undrafted player to star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys and how he relied on God to carry him through it.

Romo gives his thoughts on fatherhood, marriage, being a great teammate, and even comes up with a small solution to the NFL’s “What is a catch?” conundrum.

Give it a listen. I promise you’ll love it.
