The man who started it all for the Dallas Cowboys Staubach is one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. The most important player responsible for the Cowboys first two Super Bowl wins Staubach was also the first ever Dallas Cowboy to win a Super Bowl MVP. Throw in a Bert Bell Award (player of the year) in 1971 and and Walter Peyton man of the year award in 1978 Staubach is the most important player in the history of the Dallas Cowboys. Setting a standard of success in 1971 that holds up to this day Staubach is incomparable.
