Tweet Break: Best of #Cowboys Twitter for Apr. 15th

Sean Martin

What a past couple of days we have had in the National Football League! Since it goes without saying you’ve been reading everything we have to say about the Dallas Cowboys here on Inside The Star, we can assume you understand the implications that the LA Rams now trading up to the first overall pick in the coming draft has on the Cowboys.

Speaking of that draft, it really is right around the corner! Our countdown series is getting you closer and closer to April 28th with Cowboys on the Clock.

Following the draft, the Cowboys roster will begin to be set for their path towards Super Bowl LI. This is the regular season schedule they will play.

All of these things surfaced in the world of #CowboysNation on Twitter this past week. Here is the best of the best:

We begin with a series of tweets from a Cowboys’ fan favorite prospect in Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey. First, he took to Twitter to chime in on what dominated the sports world on Wednesday, and that was the final game of Kobe Bryant’s basketball career in Los Angeles.

Ramsey is hoping to put together a similar dominating career in the NFL, and apparently thinks it will be with the LA Rams. Hopefully Jalen can wait just a few picks until Dallas comes on the clock at #4, because pairing him with Byron Jones in this secondary could be electrifying in 2016 and beyond.

As mentioned, it was the Kobe Bryant story that dominated in sports on Wednesday. A few current Cowboys’ talked about #MambaDay on Twitter:

While he is not a current Cowboy, and not a NFL draft prospect, former safety Darren Woodson could likely still convince you he was is one of the two. Take a look at this insane workout video:

Lastly, the Cowboys schedule for 2016 has fans feeling pretty optimistic. Here are some of the best replies we received to the schedule release on @CowboysNation, along with other fans chiming in on the team’s 16 game path ahead.

That will do it for this second edition of our #Cowboys tweet break! Be sure to add @InsideTheStarDC to your timeline to continue to stay up to date with America’s Team right here on Inside The Star!
