Another Friday without Cowboys football is upon us here at Inside The Star, and this time there’s not even the tease of mini-camp practices to keep us going! The anticipation continues to build for the 2016 season, but until training camp, the Cowboys will be relatively quiet.
To help get you through these slow times, I once again turned my attention to the never-quiet world of Twitter – specifically Cowboys Nation – to bring you the best tweets from this past week.
Let’s get started!
Keeping up with #88 Dez Bryant
Dez Bryant should be in store for big things on the field this season, with his next step being to ramp up the intensity of his on-field work come training camp. Until then, the star wide receiver has found his way into plenty of headlines recently.

As you can see in this string of tweets, Dez Bryant has managed to keep a positive spin on things, despite some negative news surrounding him.
Likewise, his “triplets” mate Ezekiel Elliott continues to generate hype entering his rookie season…
Ezekiel Elliott Tweets
We just talked about Dez Bryant, but he resurfaces here as Elliott tweeted a picture of the two celebrating at Valley Ranch. Ezekiel Elliott has already proven himself to be a smart and focused player, so there is no doubt that he understands the impact a healthy Bryant will have on his ability to run the ball in 2016, and beyond.
Elliott is not only overwhelmingly excited to get the pads on with his new team this season, but was fired up for Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers when they clinched their first NBA Championship in epic fashion against the Golden State Warriors.
Playing his college football at Ohio State, and delivering a National Championship of his own to the state, Elliott was vocal in his support of the Cavs throughout the playoffs.

Lastly, here is even more appreciation towards Ezekiel Elliott, first with his bright smile being recognized by NFL Now, and secondly with his bright star being detailed beautifully by DCBlueStar – a must-follow for Cowboys fans on Twitter!

This will be the most dangerous 1-2 punch in the NFL this season.
Hard to argue with that, Derek! Going to be exciting for sure, thanks for reading!
