Tweet Break: McFadden’s Mess, Mini Camp Motivation, and Eagles Gon’ Eagle

Sean Martin

Last week on Tweet Break, we took a bumpy ride through some offseason tweets that made us laugh and smile, but most importantly, they made us miss Dallas Cowboys football. A new edition of this series here on Inside The Star can only mean that we are closer to watching the silver and blue on Sundays though!

On top of that, we have an awesome collection of tweets this week to get through. Let’s get to it, Cowboys Nation!

McFadden’s Mess

One of the most notable events of the week was the unfortunate injury suffered by the Cowboys “starting running back,” Darren McFadden. The veteran broke his elbow while trying to recover his phone, and now may be trying to recover his career in Dallas.

Naturally, Twitter had some fun with the injury news. We’ll start with our very own Jess Haynie (@CowboysAddicts).

Mini Camp Motivation

Also providing the great world of Cowboys Twitter with plenty of awesome content this week was the team’s mini camp activities. Here is just a small sample size of what was out there once the Cowboys hit Valley Ranch for the facility’s farewell mini camp.

Next, Dallas Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Scott Linehan gives some insights into how rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott has looked so far this offseason.

As you probably already know, Thursday’s conclusion of mini camp at Valley Ranch marked the final team activities at the historic facility.

Now looking ahead to training camp in Oxnard, California, the Cowboys will return home to conclude training camp at their shiny new complex in Frisco, TX, The Star.

Eagles Gonna Eagle

I think these two tweets can be presented without much further comment. However, for more NFC East rivalry fun, check out last week’s tweet break right here!
