Line up everybody, you know the drill! Relax, we’re not doing anything strenuous, instead just the opposite – taking a break! It is time for another edition of Tweet Break, as we prepare for the Cowboys first prime time game of the 2016 season this Sunday night against the Bears.

When Alfred Morris rushed ahead for the game-winning touchdown – his first as a Dallas Cowboy – against his old team on the road, we all couldn’t help but smile. His big home run swing celebration never looked so good (naturally, doing anything except sprinting up the field as the game ends will look a lot better in the iconic silver and blue look).
Of course, for fantasy-obsessed players, Morris’ success following the “benching” of Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t as pretty of a site – as Alfred was named NFL.com’s weekly “That Helps No One” player.
Dialing Up the Pressure
When Rod Marinelli’s defense takes the field this Sunday night, they will do so with some new looks up front. These changes are based on who is playing well and at what position along the defensive line, specifically involving Maliek Collins, David Irving, and the team’s best front-seven defender thus far in Terrell McClain.
After 2 games, rookie DT Maliek Collins & DE David Irving are tied for Cowboys team lead with 3 QB pressures each. DT Terrell McClain has 2.

Reports are that Jack Crawford, Maliek Collins, Terrell McClain, and Tyrone Crawford will start on Sunday – putting four true defensive tackles on the field. That is certainly…well its certainly something.

We have not heard much from Ronald Leary during the regular season, which is probably a good thing. The now-backup offensive lineman and game day inactive made some noise throughout training camp about the way the team was handling his situation with La’el Collins holding down the left guard position while Joe Looney dresses as this team’s swing guard and center.
Leary, a 2014 starter for the 12-4 Cowboys, is now viewed as an insurance piece by the Cowboys – as they look to maintain the league’s best offensive line. Any other team would love to have this problem, but Leary has made it more of a problem than needed with tweets like this, publicly proclaiming that he deserves a chance to play elsewhere.
