Odds are you were either in the middle of your normal Saturday routine or you were firmly planted in front of a tv watching the 2016 NFL Draft. I like those odds.
This wasn’t the day of the Draft that the Dallas Cowboys selected Ezekiel Elliott with the 4th Overall Pick. It wasn’t even the next day when they drafted Jaylon Smith and Maliek Collins. No, this was Saturday… the day covering rounds four through seven. Maybe you can’t remember where you were, but I can tell and show you where Dak Prescott was.
The Shreveport Times posted a video (which you can watch by clicking RIGHT HERE) taken at Dak’s Draft Day command center. In it you can see Dak’s side of the phone call sending him to America’s Team. His loved ones celebrate accordingly, if you don’t get goosebumps watching this then YOU HAVE NO HEART. (Kidding. But seriously. Obviously I’m joking. But for real.).
Dak has been Dak-no-mite through two preseason games this season. Preseason is preseason so it must be taken with a few grains of salt, but if you want to be excited about the prospect of him Inside The Star is not going to stop you.

Everything that we’ve seen from Dak Prescott not only suggests but proves outright that he is a hard worker. The video of him being drafted validates this even further, indicating that the Cowboys have a nice young talent on their hands.
