WATCH: Skip Bayless “How ‘Bout Them Cowboys” Music Video

Brian Martin

The Dallas Cowboys have always been a popular topic of discussion. It doesn’t seem to matter what their win/loss record is or how long they’ve struggled with mediocrity. You put  “Dallas Cowboys” in the headline and it is probably going to be an interesting topic of discussion one way or another.

That is why people like Skip Bayless tend to bring up America’s Team in some form or fashion on their radio or television shows. It’s an instant attention grabber and opens up a discussion because there’s not much middle ground when it comes to the Cowboys. You either love them or hate them.

Now, you may not be familiar with Skip Bayless and I personally wouldn’t fault you any if you are not. I’m personally not a big fan of his, but he is one of the few that usually speaks in favor of the Dallas Cowboys on his television shows.

Bayless is probably best well known for his work with ESPN2 as a commentator on the show First Take with Stephen A. Smith. He kind of wore out his welcome with ESPN and left the show back in April, but it didn’t take long for him to find another platform to flap his gums with fellow talking head, Shannon Sharpe. The duo of Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe debuted their new show Skip and Shannon: Undisputed on Fox Sports 1 on September 6, 2016.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a fan of Bayless or Sharpe. I find both of them rather irritating, which makes their show difficult to watch. However, to his credit, Bayless has been an unapologetic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and has picked America’s Team over and over again this season to win games, much to the distaste of his co-host Shannon Sharpe.

You can imagine that there have been some heated debates between Bayless and Shannon Sharpe regarding the Dallas Cowboys and fortunately for us, Undisputed recently released a mash up a music video titled How ‘Bout Them Cowboys of some of Bayless’ best moments.

I don’t know about you, but I kind of enjoyed that.

Even though I’m not a big fan of Skip Bayless, you have to admit that he’s been on board with what the Cowboys have been doing nearly the entire season. You can bet his former co-host Stephen A. Smith, a proclaimed New York Giants fan, is glad Bayless has moved on so that he doesn’t have to hear about the Cowboys fantastic season on a regular basis.

The 2016 season has been spectacular for us Dallas Cowboys fans. The team has an impressive 13-2 record and even with all of the ups and downs that have occurred this year, there still a lot of high hopes for the Cowboys in the playoffs.

What do you think of the Skip Bayless music video?
