Their only overtime victory of the season, the Cowboys’ first meeting with the rival Eagles was also a shown of the league’s two best rookie quarterbacks. Dak Prescott had his struggles, but in the end came through with two big drives to both tie and win the games.
After engineering a 90-yard drive, capped by a touchdown pass to Dez Bryant, to force overtime Prescott then took the team 75 yards on the only possession of the extra period. Carson Wentz could only watch as Prescott zipped the ball to Jason Witten for the winning touchdown.
