After what has seemed like an off-season that would never end, it has finally arrived! the Dallas Cowboys are ready to start their quest for a sixth super bowl.
Tonight at 7:30 pm (CST) the season begins when Dallas takes the field against division rival New York Giants. While the Boys are 7-0 all time opening the season against the Giants, Eli Manning owns a 4-2 record at AT&T Stadium.
Here are three crazy predictions for tonight’s game:
Randy Gregory will have 3 sacks.
Gregory’s confidence has to be high after a productive pre-season. I believe the Giants will leave Ereck Flowers to block Gregory one on one, and Gregory will show why he was considered a top 10 talent.
Joe Randle and Darren McFadden combine for over 200 yards rushing.
The talk all off-season has been about the departure of DeMarco Murray and the Cowboys running backs. Randle and McFadden will continue the Cowboys rushing ways and have fans saying “DeMarco who?”
Morris Claiborne finally lives up to the hype.
Claiborne said that this year is the healthiest he’s been since college. He will finally show why Jerry and company traded up to pick six to draft him. Get it. Claiborne will finally prove his doubters wrong and will return an interception for a touchdown.
