[VIDEO] Mississippi State Reflects On Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

During my musings for Inside The Star I enjoy to have something on Netflix in the background. Typically it’s something that I’ve seen before so that it’s not too distracting. Lately I’ve been re-watching the greatest show in Texas history… Friday Night Lights. It’s a Texas Forever disposition that FNL preaches, and such is the case for the Dallas Cowboys who bring glory and pride to the Lone Star State.

2016 Dallas Cowboys Draft: Gut Reaction

I like to think that during the deliberations in the Dallas Cowboys War Room throughout the 2016 NFL Draft that when a tough decision was on the table someone said, “Go with your gut.” The human belly is capable of making some great decisions when under pressure. I mean, how often do you look back at a decision in retrospect and say to yourself, “I should have gone with my gut.”? My gut is nice and full from this year’s Draft and it has fully digested everything that went on regarding the nine newest members of America’s Team.

Cowboys Running Back Carousel Stops At Ezekiel Elliott

The greatest running back in the history of the National Football League, Emmitt Smith, played for the Dallas Cowboys. A fellow Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, Tony Dorsett, preceded Emmitt as the ball carrier for America’s Team. This is a team with a rich history when it comes to running backs. For a long time all Dallas Cowboys fans have been able to hang their hat on regarding the running back position – is history. In the Tony Romo era, which current Cowboys fans know very well, we’ve had the likes of Julius Jones, Marion Barber III, Tashard Choice, Phillip Tanner, Felix Jones, and DeMarco Murray tote the rock.

Dallas Cowboys Pick Up C Travis Frederick’s 5th Year Option

Typically a team that drafts 31st Overall has lost the Super Bowl the season before. Such was not the case in 2013 when the Dallas Cowboys drafted Wisconsin’s Travis Frederick. Draft pundits chastised the Cowboys for taking Frederick at the time. Supposed experts claimed that he was worth no more than a third round selection and that the Cowboys were out of their minds for utilizing such a valuable resource on him. You see, there was a reason why the Cowboys wanted to take Frederick in the first round…

What We Learned From The Cowboys Pre-Draft Press Conference

Bright minds across the globe of Cowboys Twitter have clung to one single truth around this time of year. While smokescreens, flim-flams, and razzle dazzles are being set, done, and thrown by NFL Front Offices across the league… The Dallas Cowboys traditionally are cautiously honest when it comes to their annual Pre-Draft Press Conference. Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones, and Stephen Jones all sat down for what will essentially be the last time in front of the media before things hit Zero Dark Thirty around Valley Ranch. You can watch the Pre-Draft Press Conference here, and I encourage you to do so, but here are a few things that can be drawn out from what they said.

Memory Lane: April 25 Is Perfect Date For Cowboys

When she was standing outside the Alamo, the coveted title of Miss United States hanging in the balance, Cheryl Frasier (representing the tiny state of Rhode Island) was asked to describe the perfect date. Her answer is one that will live in infamy forever. Today is, as defined by the eventual Miss United States, The Perfect Date. What makes it perfect for the Dallas Cowboys, though? Three years ago today they drafted someone who would become the center, no pun intended, to their perfectly perfect offensive line – the best one in the National Football League.

It was about a month ago when football fans everywhere were glued to the Twitter feed of Adam Schefter as domino after domino continued to fall in the Free Agency Frenzy of the NFL Offseason.
