With Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott readying for his suspension appeal hearing, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the NFLPA has hired attorney Jeffrey Kessler to help in their efforts.
Yes, that’s the same Kessler which defended quarterback Tom Brady during the whole Deflategate ordeal over the last couple of years.
This is yet another sign that Elliott and the NFLPA seem ready to take this case all the way to court, in an effort to both repeal the suspension and clear the star running back’s name of wrongdoing.
Obviously, there are a lot of sides to this story, and many reasons why Jeffrey Kessler has been called upon. Make sure you stay locked onto Inside The Star over the coming days as we discuss the reasoning behind this move in greater detail.
