Cowboys Running Back Shuffle Continues, Trey Williams Waived

The Cowboys running back position this season has been nothing short of a revolving door, and that door continued to spin yesterday when rookie Trey Williams was waived.

Williams was signed off of the Redskins practice squad on November 4th, and never saw time on the active roster.

Williams was regarded as a potential pass-catching replacement for the injured Lance Dunbar, who will be a free agent after this season.

Chaz Green is ready to play and adds depth along the offensive line while Kellen Moore will serve as Matt Cassel’s backup signal caller.
