For Dallas, no surprise that Orlando Scandrick is missing today’s game after injuring his hand against the Giants. He may return next week but has been expected to be out today. Also, Anthony Hitchens will remain out for several weeks with the knee injury he suffered during the preseason.
This will be a second-straight week that RB Darren McFadden is inactive. He clearly has lost his backup role to Alfred Morris and Rod Smith gives more value on special teams. You have to wonder how long McFadden will remain on the roster, especially once we have more clarity about Ezekiel Elliott’s legal status.
For the Broncos, the most notable news is that guard Ronald Leary did not make the list and will play today. The starting left guard for Dallas last year, Leary was in concussion protocol this week and his status had been in question right up until now. Denver will needs his help to stifle the emerging Cowboys defensive line.
