The final results are out from the NFL Players Association on their player merchandise sales for 2016, and to nobody’s surprise the Dallas Cowboys dominate the list. Defined as the rankings that include, “all NFL player-identified merchandise and products sold by 80+ official NFLPA licensees via online and traditional outlets, with retail sales exceeding $1.6 Billion,” rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott became the first rookie to earn this top honor – while his quarterback Dak Prescott finished second.
WR Dez Bryant came in fourth, TE Jason Witten 11th, and now CBS Sports analyst Tony Romo at 15th.

This final ranking of merchandise sales goes beyond just jerseys, although Cowboys Nation came out in overwhelming numbers to grab the jerseys of players that project to be the future of America’s Team for some time.
Ezekiel Elliott even suggested in the video above some new ideas for #21 merchandise including silverware, as he looks to eat his way to a second consecutive rushing title in 2017.
“To accomplish this level of success off the field shows just how passionate football fans are in Dallas, Ohio, my home state of Missouri and all around the world. And to be up there with Dak and Dez, alongside great players like Tom Brady and Odell Beckham, is very special to me.” – Ezekiel Elliott
Cowboys fans can’t get enough of Zeke, and the budding stars all over this team, and it seems that Zeke Elliott himself can’t get enough of the support that’s come his way as the fourth overall pick in 2016.
Special things are coming in Dallas, so get ready to wear your silver and blue in support of Elliott, Prescott, Bryant, and the Cowboys!
maybe next year we’ll have someone from the Defense somewhere on that list.lol
I’m down! Maybe Jaylon Smith?
