For most NFL veterans, the Pro Bowl can be a dull task. A meaningless exhibition game, many players don’t take the game seriously or even decline the invite to play all together.
Ezekiel Elliott, however, is still a wide-eyed rookie. And after taking the league by storm in 2016 and leading the NFL in rushing, Zeke was upbeat and energetic throughout the entire 2017 Pro Bowl.
And when I say theĀ entireĀ game, I mean it.
After the game concluded, some fan decided he wanted to try to run onto the field. While security was late to the scene, Elliott took matters into his own hands and ran the fan down from behind.

Zeke had some fun with it, and even raced the fan to the end zone after tackling him to the ground. There’s certainly never a dull moment with these rookie stars.
Zeke also put a photo of him tackling the fan on Instagram, captioning the photo with “Perfect form tackle!”

Not exactly perfect form, but as always, Zeke got the job done.
In the actual game, the AFC beat the NFC 20-13, intercepting NFC quarterback Kirk Cousins in the red zone during the game’s final minute. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott started the game, and finished 7 for 13 for 52 yards passing. Dez Bryant played most of the game, finishing with 5 catches for 59 yards on 9 targets.
Zeke had just 8 carries for 20 yards, and was stuffed at the goal line on the NFC’s first red zone trip.
Most importantly, all the players left the game happy and healthy, ready to prepare for the 2017 campaign.
