Secondary Market Cowboys Tickets Nearing $300 For Thanksgiving Day Game

After an encouraging tweet from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, indicating that the team will just have to win the rest of their games to reach this year’s postseason, the Cowboys got off on the right foot. In Romo’s return from injury, the Cowboys defeated the Miami Dolphins on the road by a final score of 24-14.

Romo completed 18-of-28 passes for 227 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in a game with wacky weather. The beginning of the game saw pouring rain with swirling winds, but the Cowboys came out for the second half with sun and beautiful playing conditions. Darren McFadden rushed 29 times for 129 yards as both Terrance Williams and Dez Bryant caught touchdowns.

Winning the remainder of their games was a hefty outlook by Romo, and perhaps their toughest test will be this Thursday on Thanksgiving Day against the undefeated Carolina Panthers (10-0). Secondary market Cowboys tickets were on the decline for the Thanksgiving game against the Panthers but have upped slightly although admittedly there hasn’t been much time since yesterday’s win.

On November 2nd after their loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the average ticket price to this Thursday’s game was $313.54 and continued to rise until reaching a peak average price of $344.56 on November 13th according to SeatSmart.com. After the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the average ticket price was $317.42 and dropped to $280.29 by November 20th, which was the lowest average ticket price since the NFL season began. Currently, tickets to see the Panthers have an average price of $287.97 with the cheapest option starting from $104.

For fans spending Thanksgiving at the stadium, ParkWhiz.com has AT&T Stadium parking starting from $16. One of the best-rated options is $32 to be .65 miles away from the stadium, which will make entering and exiting the stadium an easier process.

The Cowboys moved to 3-7 with the win and trail the New York Giants by two games in the loss column, as they were idle this past Sunday. The Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles both lost over the weekend and moved to 4-6. After the Panthers, the Cowboys have back-to-back road games against the Redskins and Green Bay Packers.
