Brandon Carr Takes At Least $3mil Base Pay Cut

This should come as welcome news to a lot of Cowboys fans who have been calling for Carr’s head on a platter for a few years now. It has been the belief of a lot of Cowboys faithful that he has never quite lived up to that lofty $50 million contract, and rightfully so. Carr has been a steady presence in the Cowboys secondary having started every game since signing with the organization, but that still doesn’t sit well with fans. What this pay cut shows is Carr is truly a team player and is willing to make sacrifices in order to help the team out.
