2016 Cowboys Are Well Equipped For More 2-Point Conversions

It’s no secret that the Dallas Cowboys have one of the best offensive units in the entire NFL, but you probably wouldn’t guess that if you are referencing back to what happened in 2015. The offense struggled mightily last season and we all know why. Tony Romo’s twice … Read more

Jason Witten: How Much Longer Can He Go?

In an otherwise miserable season for the Dallas Cowboys, tight end Jason Witten reached several positive milestones. ESPN Marks Jason Witten as Future Cowboys Head Coach

Jason Witten means many things to the Dallas Cowboys organization. Preparing to enter his 14th season with the team, the ever-reliable tight end has been through his fair share of losing seasons while also getting his opportunities in the playoffs – although still chasing his first championship ring. Should that elusive Super Bowl win not come for Jason as a player for the Cowboys, ESPN thinks that he could have a career trying to coach Dallas towards the promise land. As you see here, Jason Witten was selected as the current Cowboy that is most likely to one day coach his team, as ESPN picked an active player on all 32 teams. If Witten does one day trade in his cleats for a headset and coach the Dallas Cowboys, he would become just the third former professional player to lead the team as their Head Coach.

A Reminder To The World: Jason Witten Is An All-Time Great

Let me start by saying that Gil Brandt is the Godfather when it comes to the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys. He has forgotten and dismissed more about the game of football than I or any of us will ever know. Capeesh? Capeesh. As loyal members of Cowboys Nation we can admittedly look at things through America’s Team-tinted glasses.

Dallas Cowboys: 5 Players That Are Irreplaceable

The Dallas Cowboys battled through their fair share of injuries in 2015 and if they want to have any kind of success in the upcoming 2016 season, they have to avoid the injury bug. The unfortunate thing about injuries is that they are unpredictable and they can really have a major impact on a teams performance depending on which players are the ones to go down. The sad truth for the Cowboys in 2015 was that the injuries that the team endured was to key members and was a major reason why they finished with a 4-12 losing record. I decided to try and identify a few of the Dallas Cowboys players that are simply irreplaceable and would be devastating to the entire team if anyone of them where to go down with an injury and miss an extended period of time. Tony Romo Tony Romo obviously makes this list because we all witnessed firsthand how this team functions without him at the helm leading the offense.
