It is a great day to be a Dallas Cowboys fan (ok, every day is), coming off of our second straight #VictoryPoloMonday yesterday. On Sunday Night Football the Cowboys defeated the hapless Chicago Bears 31-17, sending Dallas to San Francisco with a chance to move to 3-1 on the season this Sunday.
Before we look ahead to that win game, let’s take a fun look back at the prime time win on Sunday, via the best tweets served up by Cowboys Nation!
Green Eggs and Chaz

When news broke before kickoff that stud left tackle Tyron Smith was inactive, all of the pressure shifted to Chaz Green – a much maligned player through the preseason, struggling to comfortably secure the swing tackle position.
Green stepped up in protection of Dak Prescott, and in leading Ezekiel Elliott to his best game as a member of America’s Team, taking to Twitter to celebrate the win.
Blasted Back to the Cole Age
The Cowboys did not completely escape this game without some injuries to starters like La’el Collins (out for 6-10 weeks) and Dez Bryant (who awaits his MRI results), but it could have been worse as Cole Beasley returned following a vicious hit on the game’s first play.

The Twitter world had some fun with this play, since Cole ended up alright, and it is one of the best things you’ll see all day. Even Beasley took the time to laugh during his time travel, and arrive back at The Star today to once again be a favorite target for Dak Prescott in week 4.

Hurdles From A Half Shirt
Zeke Elliott is a good football player. We good on that? Good. Elliott is such an amazing athlete that the most complete running back prospect to come out of college football in a decade drew the attention of Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones.
The American track star took to Twitter to comment on Elliott’s hurdle over the Bears’ Chris Prosinski.
This was perfect hurdle form until #58 came in and Elliott had to chose between a sloppy trail leg or dying. Difficulty: A++ Technique: A https://t.co/hQlZs9HZV5

AND Look at #31. He lunged up and Elliott still manages not to hit the hurdle. Incredible. I can't stop watching this. https://t.co/hQlZs9HZV5

Elliott’s impressive review from Jones followed this great picture and tweet from his mother, picturing her in a hurdling track event at Missouri next to Zeke in his own hurdling race back in high school – where he was a state champion.
hurdling gene comes from momma! ???????? ???????????? pic.twitter.com/cKLbBQYluL

Ezekiel Elliott is running, spinning, dancing, and hurdling his way to stardom in the National Football League. Take notice, world.
Dak-ing Care of the Ball
If your team has QB problems I feel bad for you son, Dak Prescott has thrown 99 passes but a pick ain't one. *Drops keyboard*

We couldn’t conclude this edition of Tweet Break without mentioning Dak Prescott, who has now won as many games as the Cowboys’ starter than Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden, and Kellen Moore combined for through all of 2015.
Even more impressively, Prescott has displayed an amazing command of an offense that many fans believed was too “Romo-oriented”. The Dallas Cowboys are still Tony Romo’s team, but right now this is Dak Prescott’s offense – and he is having fun leading it down the field each and every week.
Along with his two rushing scores, and one passing touchdown to Dez Bryant, Prescott has yet to turn the ball over. Number four is incredible.
The Dallas Cowboys are amazing. Let’s go beat the 49ers. Another #VictoryPoloMonday awaits.
