Ladies and Gentlemen, he’s back. The man, the myth, the legend Tony Romo is set come off of IR at any time. To make room on the active roster the Cowboys released Brandon Weeden.
As we all know by now, the Cowboys are currently engulfed in a seven-game losing streak. And yet somehow, someway are still clinging to the hope of an NFC East title, and a trip to the 2015 playoffs.
No one is denying that this is going to be a long uphill battle (not to mention a lot to ask of a quarterback coming off of a broken collarbone and not playing in eight weeks) but it can be done.
The Cowboys are going to need some help along the way and there’s little room for error. For a first-hand look at the road ahead here’s a perfectly devised plan moving forward.
So for now, let’s simply say the real MVP has returned.
