The Dallas Cowboys hopes of reaching the Super Bowl starts this week when they host the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs at AT&T Stadium.
Even though the Cowboys handled the Packers relatively easily earlier this season, these are two entirely different teams then when they faced off against one another back in Week 6.
The Aaron Rodgers led Green Bay Packers just pretty much dominated the only team to beat the Dallas Cowboys not once, but twice in the regular season. After struggling earlier in the season, the offense for the Packers is once again one of the best in the NFL and will give the Cowboys defense all they can handle Sunday.
For the Dallas Cowboys, they will have Dez Bryant back in the lineup, something that wasn’t the case earlier this season when these two teams faced off. They also are getting a lot of their players healthy, especially on the defensive side of the ball, which is great news.
The slate is wiped clean and there is no tomorrow if the Dallas Cowboys want to keep their Super Bowl hopes alive. For this to happen, they need to function as a cohesive unit, but there are also individual players that need to step up their game if they want to be victorious this Sunday.
This is shaping up to be a game of the ages and for all of us Cowboys fans, I’m sure we are all hoping they are the team with the most points on the board when the clock expires.
