Tony Romo’s NFFC Delayed: NFL Strikes It Down Again

I love Inside The Star. I love everything about it and the chance its given me to lend my thoughts about the Dallas Cowboys, the National Football League, and the occasional tangent. We preach the notion that Inside The Star is the “voices of a nation” for a reason. We strive to deliver content that will resonate 100% with the fans – you are our target audience. This platform allows us to speak our thoughts with full honesty, and that’s what I’m doing right now.

The Assumed Backup: Moore & Williams Both Getting Benefit Of Doubt

In a recent appearance on Cowboys Cast, I discussed the Dallas Cowboys’ stability at the Wide Receiver position with host Bobby Belt. Bobby said that he felt the receiving corps. didn’t take as much flack for 2015 as maybe they should have. It’s a fair point when you consider that the Cowboys, entering the season as supposed Super Bowl contenders, fell flat on their faces to the tune of a 4-12 record. Now to be totally fair to everyone the absence of both Tony Romo and Dez Bryant certainly influenced things in a negative manner.

Roster Moves: Cowboys Release Terrance Mitchell; Waive Brandon McGee

The world of the Dallas Cowboys is always spinning, even in June, and on Friday the spin spun out two members of the roster. As it is indeed June the roster moves (like the ones Staff Writer Sean Martin wrote about here) aren’t ever that surprising to Cowboys Nation. For what it’s worth the waiving of Brandon McGee, no offense to him, falls in that category. The release of Terrance Mitchell has a lot of people scratching their heads, though. Mitchell played fairly well in the final games of the 2015 season, and it was just recently that he was actually being worked out at the Safety position.

#RJOShow Ep.17: NFL News, A Hack, & The Broncos Failed White House Trip

Is it really possible that a team, celebrating a Super Bowl title, could mess up their victory ride through the White House? Yes, the Denver Broncos did it. This week’s #RJOShow tackles the Broncos missteps and so much more in an episode that RJ flies Han style… Solo. There are contract extensions dropping like flies around the league so RJ walks you through them and breaks them down one by one in his own unique, and tangential, way.

Rolando McClain’s Absence Opens The Door At MLB For Andrew Gachkar

The organized team activities (OTAs) portion of the NFL Offseason is one where things can get silly sometimes. It’s a point in time where everybody looks good, so and so is better than ever, and there is hope within 32 different buildings across the National Football League. While OTAs are technically optional, they’re really not. Anybody who is a competitor and a point of stability on his team is present for them. Obviously there are rare exceptions, but typically if you’re absent from OTAs it means that you’re not 100% committed.

Eric Weddle Honors Dallas Cowboys Legend With Ravens Jersey Number

It’s been almost three months since I campaigned for the Dallas Cowboys to sign then Free Agent Free Safety Eric Weddle. A lot can change in that amount of time. Since then Weddle has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Dallas Cowboys did indeed add a Safety – Kavon Frazier in the 6th Round of the 2016 NFL Draft. You can get to know Kavon Frazier by listening to his appearance on the #RJOShow. He spoke to me just one day after being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.

Sundays Without Football: Lucky Whitehead Hits The Streets Of Dallas

June 5th marked the first Sunday in which Cowboys Nation was officially inside of 100 days left until America’s Team hits the field for the first time in 2016. It was actually 98 days, or 14 weeks, until the toe meets the ball at AT&T Stadium with the New York Giants in town. So think back to what you were doing this past Sunday late in the afternoon and fast forward till then… you’ll be watching the Dallas Cowboys racing across the field in their trademark white uniforms. If you were strolling around Dallas this past Sunday then you might’ve actually seen a Dallas Cowboy racing around town wearing something white – Lucky Whitehead in a Ferrari!

#RJOShow Ep.16: Nothing But Net With Nick Cocchiaro

The sports world is one that is constantly spinning. These days it’s landed on one of its biggest events of the year – The NBA Finals. This week’s episode of the #RJOShow was inspired by that, but as usual we put our own unique twist on it. We debuted a new game titled “Nothing But Net.” The point of the game is fairly simple.

Tony Romo Gets New Set Of Logos From ESPN

My Dad has the same initials as I do. He also happens to be a huge golfer. Like any veteran of the links he knows that he has to mark his ball. Since he’s almost as creative as his son he’s developed a cool little logo. He writes an “R” and circles it to signify the “O” for our last name.

Re-Dez-ulous: Dez Bryant Ranks 51st In NFL Top 100

If there were a gold medal given out to the person who has made the worst decision in the history of the universe concerning Dez Bryant then Dean Blandino would own it. The 2016 iteration of the NFL Top 100 takes home the silver, though. The annual list where players play prisoners of the moment dropped its first Dallas Cowboy on Wednesday when players #60 through #51 were revealed. Inside The Star loyalists will remember my predictions concerning the Dallas Cowboys I thought would make it and the final player on Wednesday’s episode was indeed Mr. Throw Up The X.
