The Dallas Cowboys Select Anthony Brown at #189

The Dallas Cowboys built up their front 7 on defense in day 2 of the NFL Draft when they selected LB Jaylon Smith at #34 and Maliek Collins at #67. That trend continued in to today, when they used the third pick of the fourth round to select DE Charles Tapper of Oklahoma. Now, with their first of four 6th round selections, Dallas has addressed the secondary. The Cowboys have drafted Purdue CB Anthony Brown with the 189th overall pick. Brown adds depth at defensive back for the Cowboys, who could use speed and athleticism at the position.

Cowboys Draft: Predicting Day 2

The Dallas Cowboys shocked the masses last night when they decided to draft running back Ezekiel Elliott number four overall, despite defensive back Jalen Ramsey still on the board. Clearly the Cowboys believe that Elliott is a special player, even though the running back position has been devalued somewhat over the past several years. I personally have been on the Elliott hype train from the beginning and was elated when I heard NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announce his name as the Cowboys selection. I even went as far as writing an article yesterday pleading the Cowboys not to draft Jalen Ramsey. I really can express enough how much I love the Cowboys decision to draft Ezekiel Elliott.

Cowboys Draft: Please Say No To Jalen Ramsey

It’s finally that time. The 2016 NFL Draft is just hours away and we will finally know exactly who the Dallas Cowboys will be adding to their 2016 roster. By now you’ve probably already heard the names that have been linked to the Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott, Joey Bosa, and Jalen Ramsey. If you’re anything like me, you’ve done as much research on these three prospects as possible and should have a pretty good idea of each player strengths and weaknesses.

Brandon Carr Takes At Least $3mil Base Pay Cut

With just a few days left until the 2016 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys and cornerback Brandon Carr have mutually agreed to freestructure his contract according to Albert Breer. This should come as welcome news to a lot of Cowboys fans who have been calling for Carr’s head on a platter for a few years now. It has been the belief of a lot of Cowboys faithful that he has never quite lived up to that lofty $50 million contract, and rightfully so. Carr has been a steady presence in the Cowboys secondary having started every game since signing with the organization, but that still doesn’t sit well with fans. What this pay cut shows is Carr is truly a team player and is willing to make sacrifices in order to help the team out.

Washington Redskins Sign Cornerback Josh Norman

It was about a month ago when football fans everywhere were glued to the Twitter feed of Adam Schefter as domino after domino continued to fall in the Free Agency Frenzy of the NFL Offseason. While we thought that our stomachs were plenty full off of juicy moves and acquisitions by various teams, we were given one last and final eye-popping serving when Josh Norman signed with the Washington Redskins on Friday. The move makes the NFL’s most storied division and its 2016 storylines all the more interesting. In case you haven’t heard, Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr. have themselves quite the history.

Who’s Excited To See Orlando Scandrick Again?

Dante is. Dante Giannetta. You should be too. It’s been a while. Unfortunately, the last time we saw Orlando Scandrick in the regular season was in 2014. He tore his ACL weeks before the season opener and missed the year entirely. But next season is a new season … Read more
