The Dallas Cowboys have just finished up their first rookie minicamp, with organized team activities (OTA’s) and the rest of the off-season practices about to get underway. This is just the start of the evaluation process the organization has to go through in order to put together the best 53-man roster possible. There are however those indispensable players that need no evaluation, who by the way are absolutely detrimental to the team’s success.
Injuries in the NFL are going to happen, but heaven forbid they occur to the players that are nearly impossible to replace. Every team in the NFL have those types of players, and the Dallas Cowboys are no exception.
The Dallas Cowboys have several players that fall into those parameters, which is why I decided to put together a list of my personal top 5 indispensable players. If any of these players were to get injured for any length of time, it would likely ruin the Cowboys 2017 season.
Use theĀ arrow tool provided to see exactly which players I chose and why. As always, feel free to let me know if you agree or disagree.
I agree, maybe you should write about the 5 most indispensable players on special teams/defense since this batch was all offensive…my 5 on defensive/special teams…the GOAT Jeff Heath, Sean Lee, Dan Bailey, Chris Jones and Byron Jones
Thanks Donny, that’s not a bad idea.
Good top 5
I agree especially with the Zeke pick & can’t see the cowboys going anywhere without this guy, he can score from anywhere on the field, a block here, there,& it’s good night Irene.
for me it’s a toss up @ # 3 between Dez,Beasley,& Witten. for last season it would have to have been Beasley.
