5 Free Agent DEs Cowboys Could Target To Improve Pass Rush 4

After being drafted third overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2013 NFL Draft, Dion Jordan has spent the majority of his career watching from the sidelines. He didn’t play a single down in the 2016 season because of a year-long suspension, but the Cowboys have shown in the past that they are willing to kick the tires on former first round draft picks.

Jordan is really an unknown as a player because he hasn’t been enabled to get on the field enough to properly evaluate. He possesses intriguing size, speed, and athleticism for the position, so I wouldn’t mind the Cowboys kicking the tires to see if they can tap into some of that talent.

He is just 26 and could probably be signed to a team friendly incentive-based contract. It would be one of those low risk high reward situations that could possibly pay off and help improve the pass rush for the Cowboys.

If nothing else, he could be a pass rush specialist that provides depth to the defensive end position.

Do you like any of these defensive ends for the Dallas Cowboys?
