2014 Offensive Position Battles for Training Camp

[tps_title]Third Wide Receiver Position Battle[/tps_title]

One position up for grabs that isn’t in the base formation is the third receiver spot. We have several players vying for this position. Cole Beasley, Dwayne Harris and rookie Devin Street are the main contenders to earn the position.

So far, reports have Beasley taking the most snaps with the first team and lining up on the outside with Dez Bryant lining up in the slot. Going by past experience, whoever gets those snaps in OTA’s and mini-camps also gets those same snaps once training camp starts. This isn’t to say that Beasley has it wrapped up…

Dwayne Harris is an explosive player when given the chance on offense and the team has had high praise for the rookie Devon Street.

Name to watch: L’Damian Washington. Everyone knows his story but what people overlook his is ability. He’s 6’4 with 4.3 speed in the 40 and has the ability to play special teams. If he stays healthy, you will see him on the field this season.
