Cowboys Draft: 6 CB Prospects to Watch at the NFL Combine

Brian Martin

With the 2017 NFL combine no less than a week away (Friday, March 3), I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of the participants that are likely on the Dallas Cowboys watchlist. I recently shared with you 10 defensive end participants you should pay close attention to at the combine, but now I thought I would turn my attention to the cornerback position and point out 6 CBs for you to watch closely.

The Cowboys absolutely have to upgrade the CB position. As things stand right now, the players they currently have on the roster are all probably better suited to play in the slot. They really need to get a taller more physical CB that can match up better with the bigger wide receivers in the NFL. They could address this in free agency, but there will be some good CBs available for them in the first couple of rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Use the arrow tool provided to see the six cornerbacks that I think the Dallas Cowboys will be monitoring closely during all of the drills they will be put through at the 2017 NFL combine.

  1. This is the year, the Cowboys will draft Seattle like secondary players , to take the Cowboys to another level Furthermore, those additions, will have Sean Lee, Jaylon Smith, Byron Jones, and Anthony Brown, flourish, in a proactive mode, especially, if the Cowboys land Takk and AQ Muhammad at the defensive end position. It’s Charles Haley an Harvey Martin, show again!!
