[tps_title]2017 NFL Combine: 6 CB participants to watch for the Dallas Cowboys[/tps_title]
[5/6] Fabian Moreau, UCLA (6’0″, 205)
Fabian Moreau is the cornerback that I’m looking forward to watching the most at the NFL combine. He is a converted running back, so he has a thicker build than a lot of the CBs, but his fluidity and athleticism really pop out to you when watching his game film.
I personally believe he will be one of the top performers in all of the combine events, especially the 40 yard dash where he is expected to run in the 4.3 range. The majority of the time at UCLA he played on an island in man coverage. He is a good open field tackler and is also physical when making tackles in the running game.
Fabian Moreau is a little limited in his coverages since he played man most of the time. I would also like to see him turn some of this pass break ups into interceptions. He could also stand to be a little bit more physical with WRs. He sometimes plays a little bit timid because he is afraid get flagged.
I think he is only starting to scratch the surface of his potential and the Dallas Cowboys could be the beneficiaries by drafting him with their second round draft pick.
This is the year, the Cowboys will draft Seattle like secondary players , to take the Cowboys to another level Furthermore, those additions, will have Sean Lee, Jaylon Smith, Byron Jones, and Anthony Brown, flourish, in a proactive mode, especially, if the Cowboys land Takk and AQ Muhammad at the defensive end position. It’s Charles Haley an Harvey Martin, show again!!
I think all of us Cowboys fans are hoping that’s the case.
