After running the wrong way in Week One and a fumble in Week 3, Williams turned things around and has turned in a strong season. He is still the fourth option in the passing game after Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, and Cole Beasley, but that could actually work in his favor.
As pictured here, Williams is capable of some amazing catches. He has also improved his consistency this year, cutting down on drops and getting more out of his targets.
The problem is that Williams has never shown he can step into the primary receiver role when Bryant is out, and that is something the Cowboys should be considering in the next offseason. Williams is more than solid as the fourth target in your offense. But with Dez’s injury history and Jason Witten slowing down, is it time for Dallas to start thinking bigger?
